Hi! Iām Caroline Bergvall,
My work as an art practice mentor and creative coach is specifically focused on supporting artists and writers, who are undertaking a project, seeking new developments to their practice, or who wish to deepen the impact and significance of their creative potential.
I come to art mentoring and creative coaching through 25 years of experience developing art projects and poetic works internationally for various cultural contexts and publishers, as well as running and teaching interdisciplinary writing and art practices in art colleges and universities around the world.
In addition to this, I am an award-winning writer, performer and interdisciplinary artist with a wide and recognized reputation and experience. I work in many contexts, cultural situations, and collaborations with other artists, translators as well as with galleries, international museums, curators and publishers.
So I know from a deep and long experience that working on poetic, artistic and/or collaborative practices is a rewarding but also extremely demanding, arduous and often all-encompassing professional and personal trajectory. As such, it also necessitates crucial periods of reflection, of exchange, recalibration, alongside research and development. This is where my role as a coach and creative mentor comes in.
To deepen this I have for the past few years undertaken various coaching specific training, and have recently completed a two-year long certification training with Wise Goose, a training group that focuses on contextually-rooted and consciousness-driven approaches for personal and social change.
As a mentor and coach, I bring to bear all my expertise and deep belief in the transformational value of the arts and creativity on what I can offer artists and writers.
